With the opportunity to join a company who fosters strong workplace relationships and values the importance of feedback, your new position as a Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (LAME) with Eastern Australia Airlines see you performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on QantasLink’s fleet of Dash 8 and B717 aircraft. Located within QantasLink Line Maintenance, this role will be an integral part in ensuring on time performance for our customers.

You main responsibilities will include:

Ensure all maintenance is carried out in accordance with the system of certification
Task allocation in accordance with the Procedures Manual and aircraft manufacturers Maintenance Manual requirements
Coordinating and maintaining activities, relating to maintenance of QantasLink aircraft
Providing technical advice, support and information as required for Line Maintenance Operations and other departments within the Canberra base.

Requirements:

What you’ll bring to the role:

A relevant CASA licence
Ensure conformance with practices and procedures covering the maintenance of aircraft with the objective of promoting the highest achievable standards
Ability to work unsupervised in a dynamic team environment
It is preferable that the successful applicant holds a CASA Lame Licence endorsed on Dash 8 – 200/300 and B717
Suitable applicants with regional airline experience would be considered.
