As a System Governance Business Analyst, your work will see you carrying out all aspects of managing the integration of data feeds from the Maintenance Information System (MIS) to our Records Management System (RMS). You will lead and manage the development of system and business process that will ensure any data integrity issues are identified and resolved quickly.
Your main responsibilities will include:
Managing the integrity of data feeds from MIS to the RMS and maintaining a stable infrastructure
Manage the development and production of standard and ad hoc reports produced from the MIS and the RMS
Manage the resolution of user and systems issues regarding the RMS
Lead the development and implementation of changes required by Engineering Services within the system integration between the MIS and RMS
Ensure all personnel are suitably supported in their use of the RMS and Reporting Systems in it
Maintain infrastructure documentation and user guides
Participating in risk management in accordance with Qantas policy
Maintain relationships with Key stakeholders
Leading and direct others as appropriate
Participating in Continuous Improvement initiatives
Requirements:
What you’ll bring to the role:
Strong background in Aircraft Engineering and Information Technology
Strong background in computer programming
In depth knowledge of Records Management, experienced using Flydoc’s
In depth knowledge of Maintenance Information Systems
Advanced ability in Microsoft Access, VBA, Excel and Office
Experience in developing user guides and training packages
Familiarity with developing business policy and procedures
Knowledge of CASA regulatory requirements & QE Policy and Procedures
Sound written and verbal communication skills
Attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work independently and to policy guidelines within strict time frames as applicable from time to time
Ability to work within a small focused team
Self-motivated and with demonstrated ability to work under pressure
Highly motivated and results oriented
Expertise in Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma will be highly regarded
