As we are growing our business in Asia Pacific, Lufthansa Systems is looking for dynamic and proactive candidate with excellent sales and account management skills, understanding of aviation IT products, strong business acumen and pronounced customer orientation to be based in Hong Kong.

Head of Greater China:

In this multifaceted position, the selected candidate, together with the team, is the key management representative for our company within the Greater China region. As a direct report to the CEO of the ASPAC organization, he/she holds the driver seat for the commercial development in the region. It is his/her responsibility to promote and obtain new business relations and maintain strong relationship with existing client base and outside, ensuring Lufthansa Systems’ leading market position

Furthermore, the job holder has responsibility on people management and effective cost management.

Requirements:

Experience and Qualifications:

Degree in business administration with exposure in aviation IT industry
Possesses long term on-the-ground experience in the Greater China market at the same time, experienced in western corporate environment
10-15 years of industry related experience, ideally in the areas of solution provider/ consulting / sales and business development
Minimum 5 years leadership experience with profit and loss responsibility
Fluent English speaker (both in written and oral) with proficiency in Mandarin; Proficiency in German language, an advantage
Well versed in time management, decision-making, presentation and organizational skills
Ability to use contemporary software packages such as the MS-Office suite of products
A high degree of team spirit
Intercultural awareness
Willing to travel throughout the Asia Pacific Region and Europe
