Lufthansa Technik Shenzhen is seeking for an Engineer of Video Boroscope Inspection:

The general responsibility of the VBSI (Video Boroscope Inspection) ENGINEER in the engineering department of ENP business unit (Engine department) includes the following:

Perform boroscope inspections at Lufthansa Technik Shenzhen or customer sites, prepare inspections reports and release the work performance in accordance with customer and regulatory requirements
Develop and maintain VBSI capability in accordance with the quality standards, including identify qualifications of employees, tools & equipment requirements, materials requirements, and documentation requirements
Incorporate statutory regulatory requirements as well as customer requirements into maintenance standard working documents
Work with Sales or Customer Service providing engineering assessment, planning data or cost estimation for customer inquiry
Co-operate with Quality Assurance to develop and maintain the quality standards for VBSI
Assist Engineering Administration for procurement of necessary documents required to perform the intended scope of work
Other tasks assigned by project manager

Requirements:

Your profile

5 years’ experience in aircraft engine maintenance, out of which at least 3 years of engine boroscope inspection experience
Traceable training on engine boroscope inspection on CFM56 family engines preferred
Familiar with OEM manual chapters of engine boroscope inspections
Knowledge of relevant airworthiness standards, regulatory requirements
Fluent in English speaking, writing, and reading
Sound knowledge of computer applications
Frequent travelling domestically as well as overseas required
