The Manager Alliances and Commercial Asia and Pacific is responsible for ensuring the positive development of the Joint Venture and strengthening the relationship with NH. He/ She gives recommendations to HQ in order to optimize the network from the point of view of the Asia/Pacific region.
Your principal duties will be related to:
Dependent on the assignment focus the tasks include the following:
Sales Management and Business Development:
Responsible for the operationalization and the achievement of the area goals (Key Performance Indicators, Performance Driver) including the initiation, implementation and success monitoring for necessary measures to secure revenue; He/she defines required strategic, tactical and operational tasks und steers their implementation in terms of a general process responsibility for the whole region
Steering of the monthly exchange between the markets in regard to focus topics, Key Performance Indicators and development of performance driver within organization, structure and implementation of market conferences and recurring communications
Network management:
Definition, assessment and priorization of customer and market demand with regards to the flight schedule (Lufthansa, Lufthansa Group and Alliances/ Cooperation) to constantly improve the Lufthansa Group offer
Assessment and evaluation of potential JUMP destinations within Singapore area
Monitoring of competition and definition of sales-related counter-measures
Alliances and Cooperation:
Implementation of new or managing of prevailing partnerships: assessment of the partnership, evaluation of profit-effects, recommendation for cooperation-depth from a sales perspective
Steering of an effective and efficient implementation of joint Lufthansa Group sales (mainly Swiss, Austrian, 4U in Singapore) within the framework of the Commercial Model
Definition and negotiation of the scope of service for the Lufthansa sales network in the framework of Commercial Agreements
Further development of sales processes and joint business management in the framework of commercial partnerships (Joint Venture)
Preparation and contribution to decisions in the framework of committee management (Lufthansa Group and Joint Venture as well as possible co-operations)
Representation of Lufthansa Group interests in the related Joint Venture Boards and Sales Leadership Teams
Others:
Takeover of special projects in the field Business Development to achieve further strategic and structural development of the region
Requirements:
Your profile
Experience and Qualifications:
Minimum Bachelor degree in Economic and Business Science
Minimum 3 years’ experience in the airline industry and in sales-related functions desirable
Competency in MS Office
Fluent in English, both spoken and written; Knowledge in German language is an advantage
Diligent, independent and systematic approach to work
Innovative thinker capable of operating both in a strategic capacity and a hands-on/execution capacity
Very strong analytical skills and conceptual mindset
Pro-active, interdisciplinary, systematic and target-oriented approach
Strong communication and presentation skills
Intercultural team player
Confident manner and assertiveness
Working under time pressure
Willingness for duty travel
