As part of the new organizational structure within Cargo Americas, Swiss WorldCargo is looking for a Manager to lead New York. In this challenging position you are in the commercial and operational lead of the Swiss WorldCargo organization, representing the interests of the company in the Greater New York area. In coordination with the Regional Manager, you facilitate and implement the Swiss WorldCargo strategy to ensure positive development of all defined quantitative and qualitative standards and performance indicators. You foster smooth and seamless relationships and interface with all internal and external stakeholders in order to achieve the goals of the area. In this position you are reporting to the Head of Cargo, Northeast U.S. & Canada.

Your Duties

Representing the interests of Swiss WorldCargo in the Greater New York Area towards customers, trade, authorities, suppliers, competitors, media and public
Leading the Swiss WorldCargo JFK & EWR organizations in terms of sales, marketing, finances, personnel, operations and security
Responsible to reach the defined revenue, contribution and qualitative goals, and ensure efficient and effective use of the allocated resources
Prepare and execute the marketing strategy and sales plans to efficiently and effectively secure and develop revenue streams
Ensures an optimal information flow within his/her organization as well as with Regional Management and Central Services Group functions
Participates in the selection, manages and monitors GSA’s in markets where an own organization is not justified

Requirements:

Your profile

Bachelor degree preferred
Minimum 5 years of leadership experience
Previous commercial roles in forwarding and/or airline industry
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
