Business Development Manager - Insurance start-up (Job Number: 029002)

As the Business Development Manager for Qantas Assure, you will have the opportunity to leverage some of our existing partnerships to proactively identify new commercially beneficial partnerships that will deliver breakout growth for the business and further enhance the wellness proposition for our customers. The role will also manage existing accounts, looking for ways to increase revenue from these accounts


In this key role, you will champion new business, prepare and present business development proposals and display an in-depth understanding of the organisation, business and marketing models and strategies. Key to your success in the role will be managing partnerships, building strong business relationships in the health and wellness space and actively managing those relationships.

Requirements:

To be considered for this role you will need to have the following:

Prior experience in a Business Development role ideally within the health and wellness industry
Experience across all stages of business development including opportunity analysis, proposals, strategy, briefing papers, business cases both internally and externally, approval documents, marketing briefs and business correspondence
Proven ability to build strong business relationships, resolving any issues that arise with minimal impact to the partnership
Self-starter with strong strategic thinking and problem solving ability
Experience in a digital start-up will be highly regarded.
