Network Aviation is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Qantas Group, providing aviation charter services since 1998. We operate a fleet of F100 aircraft. From our base at Perth Airport, we specialise in RPT, mining & infrastructure industry support, routine and emergency freight and corporate charter flying.
We are currently recruiting for an Examiner or Check Captain to work on the Flight Operations Training Team.
Job Specifications:
Ability to fly the aircraft from both the left and right hand seats to high standards;
Clear understanding of the competency management system and how to compile and file a report;
A working knowledge of the company manual suite particularly the Training and Checking Manual;
Maintain a high standard of briefing and debriefing with relation to any training event , ground or flight;
To attend training meetings arranged by the Head of Training and Checking;
Complete all company training documentation required for a training event in a clear and concise manner;
Attend a performance review with the Head of Training and Checking, minimum one review annually;
Advise the Head of Training and Checking of any trainee performance below company standard;
Conduct line training, line checks, remedial training, command assessments and ground training as required by the Flight Operations Training department;
History of good interpersonal skills, flying standards and a commitment to maintaining and promoting SOPs;
Sound knowledge of Company and regulatory publications;
Promotion of sound work ethic, positive moral and high personal standards within the Pilot group. It would be expected that the successful applicant would be held in high regard by other Flight Crew and Company personnel;
Sound leadership skills;
Ability to be self-motivated and work unsupervised;
Interest in, and capacity to learn new concepts;
Potential to develop teaching programs;
Ability to motivate line Flight Crew to aspire to even higher standards;
Ability to analyse and critique performances accurately; and
Commitment to training, improving standards and safety.
Requirements:
Qualifications and Experience
Qualified Instructor on the Fokker 100;
Previous instructing/examining or Check Captain experience;
Current CASA Examiner approval or Check Approval;
PMI or Cert. 4 qualification desirable.
Pilots holding a Fokker 100 Type Rating and Check/Examining approvals on another Type are also encouraged to apply.
All Network employees are required to hold or obtain an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC) and undertake a pre-employment drug and alcohol test.
