Description:
Ryanair is currently recruiting for an IT Internal Audit Manager to join our team.
The successful candidate will be based in our new Head Office in Airside Business Park in Swords.
This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the most exciting and dynamic companies in Europe. Reporting directly to the Head of Internal Audit, you will be responsible for IT auditing assignments and Sarbanes-Oxley IT control testing for the entire organisation. This work will involve examining and critically assessing the organisation’s IT controls, devising suitable test approaches, planning and conducting tests, and advising IT staff and management on process and control improvements and resolution of control deficiencies.
The ideal candidate will possess a high degree of commercial awareness and attention to detail and will have a strong interest in IT and, ideally, the aviation industry. Duties will Include:
Leading all areas of IT Internal Audit to include development of annual IT Audit plan, design and execution of audit programs
Performing IT internal audits, reviewing controls and making recommendations
Advising on and assisting with the remediation of control deficiencies
Managing IT SOX compliance throughout the Ryanair Group
Conducting internal audits of finance and business process, and other non-IT functions
Documenting company processes and updating existing documentation for any changes in company policies, procedures and new systems
Liaising with management, IT staff and external auditors on a regular basis
Providing advice on controls and information security
Completion of ad hoc projects and audits as they arise.
Requirements:
Qualified accountant (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA, etc.) is preferred but not essential
Minimum of three years’ audit and/or IT audit experience
Exposure to SOX compliance work
CISA certification or equivalent is desired
Experience of PCI compliance would be an advantage
Good technical IT knowledge, including a knowledge of networking, IT security, operating systems and financial applications
Excellent analytical and written English skills are essential
Able to demonstrate a high degree of initiative, strong interpersonal and excellent communication skills
