Description:
Ryanair are currently recruiting for a Flight Safety Officer to join their team.
The successful candidate will work with our Flight Safety department based in our Head Office in Airside Business Park in Swords.
Reporting to the Deputy Director of Safety & Security/Safety Manager, this is an excellent opportunity for an individual with line experience as an operating pilot to join Europes leading airline.
FSO duties and responsibilities include:
The FSO is the Assistant Chief Incident and Accident Investigator.
The FSO is the primary point of contact for Local Air Safety Group (LASG) Representatives.
The FSO will carry out routine Base Visits.
The FSO will provide SMS training/briefing as necessary.
The FSO will assist in the development of Safety TV content.
The FSO will monitor, analyse and respond to safety and security related queries from crew members (submitted via the ‘post a query’ function).
The FSO will represent Ryanair at both National and European level.
Requirements:
Line experience as an operating pilot is essential
Excellent communications skills
Ability to multi-task in a busy environment
Good computer skills
