Description:

The Role:

Ryanair is looking for a Claims Coordinator to join their Customer Service Department. This is a permanent position and is based in our Swords HQ in Airside Business Park.


Key Responsibilities:

Providing support to the Customer Service Solicitor allowing the team to operate with optimum efficiency.
Dealing with new claims/cases and monitoring of closed cases by way of weekly report
Liaising with external lawyers as well as management and Directors
Collaboration on existing and upcoming projects within the department
Assist with other areas of Customer Service when there is a backlog of correspondence
Distribution of court case workload
Monitoring and distribution of STN post to ensure timely response.
Advising team of latest judgements/up to date case law

Requirements:

A minimum of 1 years’ experience in Customer Service environment
Interest in expanding knowledge of aviation legislation relating to passenger claims
Experience in handling and construction of court case defences
Knowledge of German/Spanish/Italian or other European language preferable
Experience in dealing with ADR bodies
In depth knowledge of Service Mail
Ability to work on own initiative
Ability to use a high degree of self-management
Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
Flexibility in managing workload
Ability to work in a team
Clear communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
Good working knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Powerpoint
